What is STAC?

Underpinned by Oracle’s market leading Session Border Controller (SBC*), STAC enables resellers to offer a best-of-breed telephony service that is reliable, secure, and cost-effective.

Available to our reseller partners in the U.K. today, and launching in other European countries later this year, STAC allows resellers to utilise the expertise of the Nuvias UC team to overcome the technical challenges and complexities when deploying and managing voice services, as well as aiding in the number porting, service migration and telephony billing processes, and allowing our reseller partners to offer the full end-to-end UC experience to their customers.

What has triggered the business need for STAC?

Over the last two years we’ve seen a monumental shift towards online meetings with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx and RingCentral. With this, many businesses are also looking to move their telephony platforms to the cloud due to the flexibility that comes with it, increasing the need for an end-to-end UC service.  Typically, procurement of these services would involve multiple parties requiring multiple contractual agreements and transactional flows, as well as a large amount of technical expertise to implement.

To overcome these complexities for our customers, Nuvias UC will allow resellers to offer all component parts under one commercial offering and enable a single supply path for the service, while also providing the technical expertise for you. This will allow all our reseller partners to offer Voice Integration Services via an easy to consume Per User Per Month model, not just those with a background in telephony.

That’s why STAC is available through Hub where, within just a few clicks, resellers can place their order and let Nuvias UC take care of the rest. From there, we’ll take care of the service configuration, any required number porting, and the cloud integration.

Furthermore, Nuvias UC will manage the rating and billing for the service as well as any out of plan telephone calls that are changed on top of the inclusive minutes.
