Rigby Group’s Nuvias unified communications business (Nuvias UC) has unveiled ambitious plans for continued expansion following the announced acquisition of the cyber security & advanced networking division of Nuvias Group by Infinigate.
The specialist unified communications business – which enjoyed 72% growth to achieve a turnover of €130m in the last 12 months alone – has announced a target of reaching €300m by 2025 through a blend of organic growth and strategic acquisition.
With the sale of its sister cyber security and networking business to the value-added distributor Infinigate Group poised to create a €1.4 billion pan-European powerhouse, Nuvias’ refocused unified communications operation is well positioned to target further expansion in a specialist global market that Precedence Research predicts will experience CAGR growth of 18% to hit an annual value of around €365.88 billion by 2030.
While further selective specialist acquisitions to strengthen and expand Nuvias UC’s core capabilities are under review, the 100% Rigby Group expects to maintain strong organic growth, building upon its strong leading position as the Unified Distributor of the Year (UC Today Partner Awards).
The business – formerly known as Siphon Networks (acquired in 2016), and now including Alliance Technologies GmbH (acquired in 2021) – has built a significant position in the fast-evolving UC sector. Named Yealink’s Distributor Partner of the Year in 2022, Zoom’s EMEA Partner of the Year in 2021, and Poly’s leading UK distributor and third largest distributor in Europe, the business continues to push for market share across Europe with clear focus on the UK, Germany, France and Benelux markets.
The specialist provider will also continue to widen its focus on cloud platform vendors and the evolving customer experience (CX) market through pan European partnerships with partners such as Five9 and RingCentral.
Nuvias UC’s Chief Executive Jeremy Keefe said:
“Under Rigby Group’s stewardship, which will continue to see us invest, develop and evolve the business with a clear focus on the specialist unified communications market, we have identified a real opportunity to be the absolute leader in a growing sector where few can rival our expertise, technical capabilities and credibility. Our ambitions are uncapped, and I’m tremendously excited by the growth strategy we have planned over the next several years.”
Rigby Group Co-Chief Executive Officer Steve Rigby commented:
“Rigby Group’s reputation for strategic investment is built on acquiring businesses ripe for growth, enabling that expansion through sustainable management and investment, and then knowing when continued evolution can best be served by sale or merger. Just as the time was right to move Nuvias’ cybersecurity business into new ownership, as a leader in an exploding market, Nuvias UC is perfectly positioned to target significant growth in the short to medium term and we are confident that we have the right team in place to achieve this.”
